Welcome to Kamileo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kamileo mobile application ("App") operated by Kamileo ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Kamileo is a hair health and nutrition tracking application that provides:
Some features are available for free; others require a paid subscription ("Kamileo Pro").
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and use the App. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@kamileo.online if you suspect unauthorized access.
KAMILEO IS NOT A LICENSED MEDICAL CARE PROVIDER. THE APP DOES NOT PROVIDE MEDICAL ADVICE, DIAGNOSIS, OR TREATMENT.
The hair health assessments, nutrition scores, care recommendations, and all other content provided through the App are for informational and educational purposes only. They are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, nutritional needs, or hair health concerns. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information you received through the App.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.
Kamileo does not guarantee any specific health outcomes from using the App. Individual results vary based on numerous factors including genetics, overall health, diet, and consistency of use.
KAMILEO USES ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO ANALYZE PHOTOS AND GENERATE INSIGHTS. AI-GENERATED CONTENT IS INFORMATIONAL ONLY AND MAY NOT ALWAYS BE ACCURATE.
The App uses third-party AI services to analyze hair photos, identify food items in meal photos, and generate personalized recommendations. You acknowledge that:
KAMILEO PRO IS AN AUTO-RENEWING SUBSCRIPTION. PAYMENT WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR APPLE ID ACCOUNT AT CONFIRMATION OF PURCHASE. THE SUBSCRIPTION AUTOMATICALLY RENEWS UNLESS AUTO-RENEW IS TURNED OFF AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE THE END OF THE CURRENT PERIOD.
Kamileo Pro is available as a weekly or annual auto-renewing subscription. By subscribing:
Prices are in your local currency as displayed in the App at the time of purchase and may vary by region. Prices may change, but changes will not affect your current billing period.
You may cancel your Kamileo Pro subscription at any time. After cancellation:
Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
You retain ownership of all content you submit to the App, including photos, food logs, and hair care diary entries ("Your Content"). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use, process, and store Your Content solely to provide and improve the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content does not violate any laws or third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
You agree not to:
The App, including its design, code, features, content, algorithms, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Kamileo and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The DIY recipe library, AI analysis algorithms, scoring methodologies, and all other proprietary content remain our exclusive property.
The App integrates with third-party services including cloud infrastructure, AI providers, subscription management, and analytics. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or practices.
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings > Delete My Account). Account deletion permanently removes all your personal data from our servers, including your profile, photos, food logs, hair analysis results, and care diary entries. This action cannot be undone.
If you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings before deleting your account.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated content, health insights, or nutrition information provided through the App.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL KAMILEO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100 USD).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kamileo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with the rules of the applicable arbitration association. Arbitration shall take place on an individual basis — class actions and class arbitrations are not permitted.
You may opt out of this arbitration provision by sending written notice to support@kamileo.online within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, providing notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
